it's important to keep in mind that Josm validator detections are not 
necessarily actual problems. They help finding suspiciously looking spots and 
avoiding typical things human mappers sometimes do wrong (like forgetting to 
set a tag (sometimes when other tags suggest it should be there)), but in some 
cases the validator warning is simply not applicable, and in others like "way 
end near another highway" you need on the ground knowledge to solve the problem.
