Thank you for the comments. I see you propose to use: fiskeridir > <https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=Key:fiskeridir&action=edit&redlink=1> > :iid > <https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=Key:iid&action=edit&redlink=1>. > Why not ref:fiskeridir? > <https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=Key:fiskeridir&action=edit&redlink=1> >
I am happy to use *ref* instead of *iid*. Should the *fiskeridir* prefix preferably be a suffix (in all cases), so *ref:fiskeridir* instead of *fiskeridir:ref*? The Import/Catalogue <https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Import/Catalogue> page indicates a prefix. > And is it possible to get from that ref to the fiskeridir:url? > <https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=Key:fiskeridir&action=edit&redlink=1> > In that case I wouldn't repeat urls everywhere. > Yes, the url is for example https://www.fiskeridir.no//register/akvareg/?loknr=14040, so it could be deduced from *ref.fiskeridir=14040*. That path is not published anywhere though, and not searchable, so information is lost if the url tag is removed. I suppose the tag would be *url:fiskeridir* if a suffix is preferred.
