Hi Everyone,

This is a quick reminder about how best to get support when using
Revolution.  Given the volume of mail we're getting it would be helpful if
you could take a moment to read this and follow it before trying to contact
us.

Do any of these apply?

I am a Standard user
My question is not urgent
My question could do with multiple viewpoints or a general discussion

If any of these apply, please send your question to the appropriate mailing
list rather than direct to us.  When deciding on which list to use, please
post:

Bug reports and feature requests to improve-revolution
Questions about using Revolution to use-revolution

Discussion with other users helps to track problems down, gives multiple
solutions to a usage issue and reduces duplicates for us.  These mailing
lists are generally a great place to discuss many issues.

We will not always reply to posts on the mailing lists.  However, we will
always reply to bug reports and feature requests, *except* sometimes where
we have already logged such bug report or request.  However, there may
sometimes be a delay in getting such reply.

If you are a professional user:

If your question is urgent, the only way to get a reply quickly is to follow
the instructions in your registration email to the letter, *including using
the relevant subject line and support contact*.  Otherwise our mail system
will not pick out your message, and given the backlog we have at present it
may not even be read the same day.  Please only use this system for urgent
enquiries.

However, we will reply to any mail you send to us directly - it may just
take a little while.

General rule of thumb for all users:

* * * If you have multiple issues or questions, use multiple emails. * * *

It makes it easier for us to respond as we don't have to deal with
everything in one email to start getting replies out to you.  The more
issues you report or questions you ask per email, the harder it will be for
us to reply.

Also, if you haven't already, please take a moment to read Support
Guidelines, to be found in Revolution Support, in the Help menu inside the
product.
