A startup handler in the card script is ignored. A startup handler in the stack script is executed. I created a new stack with one card. I put in startup and open handlers in the stack. I made a standalone. (I left in 3 library stacks.) I tested. I repeated and added handlers in the card. For second app, the opens in the card were executed instead of those in the stack, as expected. But the startup was ignored, only the one in the stack was executed. Documentation should clarify this. It should state the alternate path or target or, if the handler is called directly, the nature of the call. If this is not the way it is supposed to work, then this is an engine problem.
