The time function seems to fool with the milliseconds function.
R 1.1.1 on OS X and OS 9 (compatibility)
Consider this function:
on mouseUp
put empty into data
repeat with i = 1 to 1000
put the milliseconds & linefeed after data
if i mod 20 = 0 then put the long time & linefeed after data
end repeat
put data into field "ms"
end mouseUp
(The problem occurs with different variations of time.)
A typical resulting value in field "ms" looks starts like this:
