I am interested in others' experience with this new procedure. I was doing some testing today and noticed that it leaves some records unimputed. If variables X1 through Xn are all to be imputed and there are some cases that are missing all n of these target variables, then the FCS option in SAS PROC MI leaves the variables missing on those cases.
I also note in the documentation that class variables are not allowed to be predictors for other variables that are modeled with the discriminant link. Seems like a rather severe limitation to me. Has anyone tried to use it to be imputed several hundred or even several dozen variables at once? --Dave David Judkins | Principal Scientist | Abt Associates 4550 Montgomery Ave. Suite 800 North Bethesda, MD 20814-3343 O: 301.347.5952 | Fax.301.828.9672 | [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> ________________________________ This message may contain privileged and confidential information intended solely for the addressee.
