Last I checked, neither IMS nor SMTPRCV supported SMTP source routing, the
ability for a sender to designate a path through which to send mail or to
send replies to. But I want to confirm this.
When presented with a source routed MAIL FROM envelope, I recall IMS would
write only a single domain (a single "@" sign) in the RCP file's return-path
line. I want to make sure that oddball things in the source path won't mess
up my DMP survey plugin.
So do I check for multiple @ signs in the return path or should I even
bother?
the stock ims i believe did this, but all of us are running mikes smtp
receiver, which doesn't.
