I'm also receiving tons of spams to un-existent users
They are blocked with sptprcv
Although source ip adresses change almost all the time, I try to detect the
most frequently used, and I add them to the source ip filter

did you notice patterns like [EMAIL PROTECTED] ?
where x and y are random letters ?
I wonder that is the purpose of sending so many spam,

I suppose these are fake mailing lists, sold to naive 'wanabe' spammers...

Subject: Send most e-mails directly to trash?

| Hello,
|
| How can I send all e-mails directly to trash (before any mfilter, etc.)
that
| are not addressed TO one of my valid users? I DO NOT want IMS to send
| notices to the offending senders (99.99% spammers) telling them these user
| names are not valid.
|
| My server receives approx. 10K e-mails a day sent to "BadUserNames@
| GoodDomainName.com"
|
| I can put the good usernames in plugin5, but the 10K end up in the
"holding"
| directory and are processed 54 times. So that's not a good idea - my
little
| server churns and smokes.:)
|
| Thanks.
