There was a discussion between you two early last year about "accept
mail for".

The bounce message is generated by smtpds and never goes back to
incoming/prein.  If you took berghoff-usa.com out of the "accept mail
for" in the ims control panel, then smtpds wouldnt know that it's local
and would try and deliver it through the receiver/plugin1.

It'd mean that all your berghoff-usa.com addresses would have to be
plugin1 aliased to something else that is in "accept mail for".
