There's no character set in the header, so I can't trap
that.
Speaking for Trash Finder:
Sometimes there is a character set in the header, and
it is trapped then. Also, both the unknown words filter and the upper bit
character filters include the subject. But they need to include the body as
well in order to have enough text to make an accurate determination. That lets
some of the junk through.
I
haven't been able to think of anything that would both work and be relatively
safe (that is, wouldn't catch some legitimate mail). The problem is that the
subject is so short that a single misspelling or foreign word could trigger
the filter -- which would be bad if it was used as a delete
filter.
Any
ideas are welcome.
