Can you say more about this DNS configuration ?
It seems to me that you usualy have 3 A recordS in this case :

domainname A x.x.x.x
www A a.b.c.d
mail A a.b.c.e

MX mail.domainname

is your xxxx like the www (a.b.c.e) or like the mail (a.b.c.d) ?

Benoit

Subject: More on the looping problem

| I've been doing some testing and found that the looping problem only
happens
| with domains that have their A record pointing to one IP (web server) and
| their MX record pointing to a different IP (email server).
|
| Anybody have any ideas yet?
