I've seen them a number of times. Old versions of Trash Finder generated
this on occasion. It's bad because the plugin is removed and doesn't run any
more. I changed TF to avoid it. The message does not give the name of the
plugin, unfortunately. In your case, that's most likely to be AVP, since you
said that it was the only pre-plugin that you're running.

The reason for it is returning the "wrong number of args" code from a
plugin. If a plugin fails to set the code or returns an uninitialized
variable for the code, I could imagine that happening occassionally by
accident. But the plugin shouldn't be returning this code unless the
parameters are bad in a way which cannot be corrected.
So it probably needs fixing. If AVP writes a log of some sort, I'd check it
to see if it provides any information on what's happening.
