Anyone know if Klint is still active in the group and still holding the
source for the smtprcv development or has someone else taken over?
I have tried twice now to install 0.51 and am getting the same results
with some clients able to send mail and some not. The client usually
reports that the smtp server is refusing the delivery. The only info I
can gather from the 'R' log files are the following:
[23/Aug/2004:14:26:37] 68.167.112.178 554 access denied, bl.spamcop.net
[23/Aug/2004:14:28:59] 65.168.236.2 521 HELO is local domain, #######.com
[23/Aug/2004:14:35:28] 65.168.236.2 521 HELO is local domain, #######.com
[23/Aug/2004:14:36:18] 192.168.128.22 521 HELO is local domain, #######.com
[23/Aug/2004:14:36:29] 192.168.128.22 521 HELO is local domain, #######.com
There were four attempts, I tried using the internal and external
address of our mail server with the same results. Interestingly enough,
it seems to be working fine with Outlook but not with Netscape. I
haven't tested it with other clients. Anyone have similar experiences?
