Probably wintools. It's very nasty to get rid of and like already
mentioned you have to boot to safe mode. I had two machines get
infected over labor day. Apparantly several major IIS web servers
got infected over labor day and anyone who visited them got infected.
My wife only goes to about three sites (one of them MSN) and she got
infected. Since it's an NT4 machine which doesn't have safe mode I
had to install another copy of NT4 to clean out the registry. With my
XP machine spybot wouldn't clean so I booted to safe mode and cleaned
it myself. But it left IE broken so now I use mozilla :-) Even SP2
didn't fix IE.
