Can anyone explain this occurence? There are .OLD files in the
prein directory for some messages that have indeed been delivered.
I have been deleting them previously but am growing tired of this
and would like to see why they are occurring. I added a new domain
to our mailserver today and am able to recreate these problems with
addresses at this domain. I added a new domain and in the list of
acceptable domains (both in smtprcv and the emwac control panel
applet). In the alias file I placed the following entries:
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]","newdomain_userA"
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]","newdomain_userB"
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]","newdomain_userC"
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]","trash"
Of course, I have set up users and their appropriate directories for:
newdomain_userA
newdomain_userB
newdomain_userC
Everytime I send a message to any of these addresses, a .OLD file is
created, but the message is still delivered. Can anyone explain this?
Thanks,
Greg
