hi randy I don't know if this is related; but here goes.
I installed tf 0.91e (free version) as soon as I heard about and it has been working fine. Last week everyone stopped receiving emails. So I stopped and started all the relevant services and also tried rebooting the server. Nothing. I then thought of looking in the log files! The scsm log was full of messages saying : "TRASH_FI.EXE Timed out & terminated." I have tried restarting SCSM filter but this has no effect. I have also tried reverting to version 0.91d ( just in case !!); still nothing. In addition the trash finder configuration tool TRFINDER..EXE has stopped working.
The prein folder getting full up and everone is asking where there emails are.

A particular malformed header will cause TF and TF Pro to go into an infinite loop scanning the message. This wastes time on your server, and eventually SCSMFilter will kill TF, allowing the message to pass unscanned. This problem as been seen "in the wild" (which is how I detected it). Admins should take action as soon as possible. I've distributed a fix to TF Pro users; it is recommended that they update their systems to version 1.02b as soon as possible.
