What version of SMTPRcv are you running? I seem to remember 0.51beta
solving a problem with SMTPRcv getting stuck rejecting the same message
over and over. I don't recall the process hanging though.

I use SMTPRcv, which for some reason crashes / suspends / overheats a
couple of times a day, after I moved to a Win2k server machine.
About 80% of the time, it just revs up the CPU to 100% and the inlog
file gets filled with billions of those lines about how a particular
email was rejected because it was on a DNSBL. It keeps writing that
line about the rejected email every couple of seconds, until I
restart the process.
Then about 20% of the time (twice a day or so) the process just hangs
and doesn't respond to anything, and it refuses to be killed. I have
to use SysInternal's process applet to kill it. Then I can restart
it.
I tried looking in the emails I saved from this list, but there are
no tips about this. Any ideas?
