That's exactly what I did, Randy.

Lots of good mail was being trashed, probably because they were written in 
Portuguese.

Right, and in the Pro version, you can adjust it to be less sensitive as
well (by increasing the percentage that triggers the filter). It's primarily
intended for trapping junk written in weird character sets; it's best turned
off completely if you get a lot of good mail with such characters.
