I finally figured out what is causing the "Relaying denied" problem.
When the Pop3 log file is bigger than about 7 MB, SMTPRCV's POPAUTH becomes unstable. If this log file is bigger than 10 MB, SMTPRCV's POPAUTH becomes VERY unstable.
