I'm not sure if you guys realized...... I found out this by accident ...I had my iPhone headphones plugged into my MacBook Pro 13" which has only one EP connector which functions both as headphones + mic.... and I pressed the button (remote) on the headphones and it paused the music that was playing on iTunes.
:-) Then I tried it on VLC and it worked there too. not bad Rishi
