Hi, If you open DVD with DVD Player on Mac, you need to set the DVD region Code.
You can use *VLC Player *for mac to skip the DVD Code region. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html Also, in System preferences change the default application of Video CD/DVD to open with VLC Player so that every time you insert any Video CD/DVD it will open with VLC Player.
