Hi Muthu, Try the following steps
Go to Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration and copy the following to the desktop: com.apple.airport.preferences.plist NetworkInterfaces.plist preferences.plist com.apple.nat.plist Restart the machine and then go to network preferences.It will automatically take the settings for your ethernet.
