Hmm… So when the new iPad and iPhone get launched in the US, we may see the iPhone 4 and iPad 1 get officially launched in India.
Which I guess is why the grey market will do better than the Authorized channel as far as sales goes for these two product lines in India. When the grey market numbers do well in India, it means another country is benefiting from these sales so it’s a false sense of market size in case they US thinks the market size in India is low. But I guess the Apple India team can’t do much about this.
