I had HP 801 all-in-one ink jet printer and changed to Laser shortly. It worked fine with my iPhone, iPad, MacBook, MacBook Pro. The reason for changing to laser was that inkjet needed frequent replacement of cartridges. Refilled ones don't even last for 100 prints.
I would recommend to look at Laser printer. We can not control the color or b/w printout, we can have option to select the printer and no of copies. If the job is in color and we need to print in B/W, we can't. Just my view on inkjet printer. May be of the topic but worth looking at the laser with little more so you get peace of mind with printer.
