When it doesn't wake, just try closing the lid and opening again. That used to 
work for me sometimes. 

Try changing the power settings to see if a change happens. I think there is an 
option which also puts the hard disk to sleep after a while. Unselect that and 
see what happens

If you manually shut the lid and then try to wake the machine, does it work as 
normal?

hi guys
im having a strange problem from the last few days , if i leave my macbook
pro idle for a while it goes on sleep mode and then refuses to wake up
again until i turn it off by long pressing the power button and turning it
off and then turning it on again , the computer sleeps on the specified
time as in the energy saver settings , but just refuses to wake up ….even
if any music is playing shuts down automatically when idle , this would
never happen earlier ,kindly help.
