Respected Dr. Harpal, When you activated your phone, you said you chose to activate it as new phone. Beneath the option to activate it as a new phone was the option to restore this phone from iCloud backup.
This option to restore from iCloud backup comes only at the time of activation and not later. Later you can sync data using iCloud but a complete restore of the earlier phone does not happen eg. SMS, home screen organisation, folders etc. I suggest you Restore your phone again and while activating again use restore from iCloud backup option and your new phone will become a replica of the earlier phone in terms of content.
