It supports incremental backups so only new files are backed up to the ext drive. And you have a setting in your profile to say if or not to delete files on ext drive if deleted on Macbook Air. So if you check that off, the backup would be one way only i.e. updating new files but never deleting anything from external. I hope that helps. -- Rishi On 9 November 2012 20:33, Harpal Selhi <drhar...@gmail.com> wrote: > I wish to have incremental backups, I.e. say I backup my SSD DRIVE today > and download pics everyday in nov and transfer the pics of November to > external drive and then may be delete the pics of nov 2012 as the drive is > full. > > External drive should maintain Mu previous data. > > > Regards > > Harpal > Sent from my iPhone > > On 09-Nov-2012, at 20:21, Rishi Talreja <rishif...@gmail.com> wrote: > > Carbon Copy Cloner. > > > > -- Rishi > > > On 9 November 2012 20:01, Harpal Selhi <drhar...@gmail.com> wrote: > >> Dear all >> >> I have been using MacAir & find data storage especially digital pics >> difficult as solid state hard drive is very small. >> >> I was using time machine to backup.
