Dear all My WD ext HDD has malfunctioned as ported earlier on this forum.
When I connect to windows PC it says the USB DEVICE has Malfunctioned and Windows cannot recognise it. On my MacBook and MacAir it is not detected, any help in getting it to work. How to retrieve the Data from this? I have been using it as backup and now this mixup, please what should one use for backup to be safe?
