Hi I have VMware fusion 5 and have been using Windows 7. In boot camp, I removed windows 7 partition and created new partition. On the next installation page, it asked for download/install windows package and instal windows 7, I clicked Install Windows 7 and installed windows 8 CD. All went fine and installation completed.
After restarting, I see only Win 7 in VMware. While restarting, by pressing Options button, I get Mac / Win 8 / Recovery disk images. When I click Win 8, I go to Win 8 and access everything in Win 8. My doubt is whether VMware 5 supports Win 8 or not. Can someone help me loading Win 8 in VMware 5? Do I need to upgrade? But there is software update available and what I have is the latest software. Another issue, apple wireless device MBP is not detected by Windows, I searched for the driver but no luck.
