As far as I know, one cannot install fonts on iOS, at least without jailbreaking(even after I don't have much knowledge of apps supporting that) The best thing that seems to me is to have the file rewritten without Hindi fonts. Search for "Hindi fonts to Unicode text converters" to find apps that do it, but it will be on the pc. If there's a lot of files, perhaps try to see if they open well in CloudOn. It's a free app which runs MS Office on the iPad using vnc off their servers. So one needs Internet to access it but its free MS Office on the iPad.
