Hi , This can also be because of the vga cable on the projector side .
Connect that cable to a regular computer and see if colors are ok . Usually there is no setting to change for colors (only for resolution) and projection should work unless that projector cable has some missing pins or partial failure . In rare cases the vga adaptor used can also be bad .
