But beware the wounded snake - he has two options: 1. To persuade JPM (or find another bank ) and launch a hostile bid (very difficult with Board, fans, small shareholders, public and everyone else against him) 2. Go away for 6 months sell the Bucs and come back with a cash bid. This is possible if he really wants United and the Board would find this difficult to resist - Gill made this codedly clear this morning in his R5 interview. It was the leverage which caused the problem. We have to redouble our efforts to get the fans into a position where this can NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN. We need 25%+1 asap, and we will have to explore every avenue to do that within the 6 months we probably will have. No time to lose, maybe a small celebration for immediate victory, but the fight goes on.
