LONDON, Feb 6 (Reuters) - English soccer club Manchester United (MNU.L: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Sunday it had received a detailed proposal from U.S. entrepreneur Malcolm Glazer which may lead to a takeover offer. "The board can now confirm that it has received a detailed proposal subject to various preconditions which may form the basis of an offer for Manchester United from Glazer," Manchester United said in a statemented emailed to Reuters. Sources said last week Glazer was working with investment bank Rothschild on a potential 800 million pound ($1.51 billion) bid. ------------------------ Yahoo!
