Well done to all who turned out last night (Wed). An inspiring demonstration of the passion people feel and the desire to resist Glazer every step of the way.
At such short notice this was impressive. But nonetheless just a symbolic indication of the sort of resistance Glazer will meet if he is allowed to proceed. People are determined to prevent this but also resolute that if he gets control they will not pay Glazer's debts for him to buy our club. So if he was to succeed the damage to our club (if it would still be our club) would be immense. That is why the board must see through the disguised debt in his new proposals and throw it out once and for all. A straw poll of punters in attendance overwhelmingly suggested that a repeat tonight (Thursday) was not the best way forward but rather to wait until the announcement of the board's response to Glazer's proposals. Whether that is in congratulation of a correct decision to reject or condemnation of selling the fans down the river by handing 'the books' to Glazer and in doing so, giving him the keys to the gates of OT. Therefore there is no intention to call for a repeat tonight unless circumstances change. No doubt further actions will be the subject of discussion at tonight's IMUSA meeting - in particular planning for the Milan home game. ------------------------ Yahoo!
