Brentford boss Martin Allen has warned of the potential dangers created by Southampton's limited ticket allocation for their FA Cup tie. Allen believes that Southampton have created a 'dangerous situation' after allocating just 3,200 tickets to The Bees for the match. "Potentially this is a very, very dangerous situation we find ourselves in," said Allen. "We have 3,200 people with legitimate tickets going to Southampton and they will be behind the goal tucked in the corner for away supporters. "But there will be numerous [home] tickets available. It has already happened. "Brentford supporters who have not been able to get [legitimate] tickets have already bought [other] tickets. They have already and will continue doing so for what is the biggest game for this club for many, many years. "They will get in. There will be Brentford fans all over that ground. It will be invaded by Brenford fans and you cannot blame them for wanting to watch this game, in my opinion. "It's going to happen. Somebody has to get their head out of the sand and say it is going to happen. "If there's a disaster then afterwards someone has to look in mirror and say 'why has this happened?'." Southampton have warned that opposing fans will not be allowed in home areas - and chairman Rupert Lowe hinted that a lack of foresight by their visitors caused the problem. "I spoke to the Brentford chairman and managing director and explained that we consulted both Brentford and Hartlepool (before their replay), they decided on their allocation and we've given them that," Lowe told Sky Sports News. "Our supporters that sit in the zone that we could have added have bought 80 percent of the tickets so we cannot allocate any more. "The key to this is forward planning. We are dealing with large numbers of tickets and it's difficult to do things at the last minute. "There will be a reasonable turnout of Brentford fans and it is regrettable that more can't come."
