The people who matter, who have the real 'power' amongst the supporters almost certainly read this List/Fanzine. I thus implore them to do everything within their power to stop any group from giving in to the Board's (Glazer's) request for banners at the Stretford End. If one had been allowed to remain then it should have been the 'Flowers' one. For me, and those of my (aged) generation, a very poignant, emotional and powerful banner. But I really do believe that we should exercise our 'supporter power' on this one and REFUSE the Board's request. This time WE control the situation for if the Board were to put up 'fake' banners purporting to be 'ours' then they would be very quickly exposed. All MUST know that the Board are NOT acting out of a desire to see any fan banners, but to try and pretend to the world that all is well and that the supporters have accepted Glazer and his sons. For any TRUE supporter of Manchester United to be involved in that sort of duplicity would be an OBSCENITY. Please, I BEG you, if you have any knowledge of who it is that is 'supporting' the Glazers, try and speak to them and ask them to desist.
