Arts Council renews Irish-architecture.com funding for 2006
Archiseek / Ireland / News / 2006 / January 26

The Arts Council of Ireland has agreed to renew its funding for
Irish-architecture.com for 2006. This will allow the site to continue to
develop its existing services while continuing expansion, so this
decision is very much appreciated. Without sponsorship or funding, it
would be difficult to continue in the present format or offer the
present level of information and interaction.

Irish-architecture.com has recently added a RSS feed and is planning new
sections on some smaller towns including Fermoy, Youghal and Abbeyleix
as well as major new sections on Galway and Waterford.
Irish-architecture.com was started as a small website Architectural
Dublin in 1996, as 2006 will mark ten years online, it is envisaged that
some events may be organised to promote the site.

Website traffic has broken all previous records, and the entire
Archiseek.com website now has over 1.6 million page views per month, of
which 800,000 are for the Irish information. The site is now in the top
ten of architecture sites worldwide for traffic. For 2006, it is
intended to build on this by concentrating on our original news content
and high-visibility.
