An architect told the Cape High Court yesterday that he was "totally taken aback" when LeisureNet's joint chief executives asked him for a kickback on money the group was to pay him.
Architect Dawid Rabie was the first witness in the trial of Peter Gardener and Rodney Mitchell, the now-defunct LeisureNet's CEOs, their business associate Hans Moser, and Mitchell's wife Suzanne.
