Hello all,
India Association would like to thanks all the participants for a
successful India Olympics '99. We all had a great time. Currently, there are
more activities under way.
Currently, the movie 'Satya' will be played this Friday, March 5, 1999 in
ECE 101. The movie will begin at 7 p.m. We hope everyone can make it.
IA would also like to announce MELA '99 which will occur on Sunday, April
18, 1999 in the MU Ballroom. We are scheduled to have a cricket
demonstration, possibly an indian skit, and a few performances on stage.
There will be no charge for this event currently.
Also, India Nite '99 will occur on Sunday, May 9, 1999.
For those of you who would like to participate in either event, we have a
spot open for MELA - deadline to submit a possible event is Wednesday, March
17, 1999. Deadline to submit a possible event for India Nite '99 is April 7,
1999.
