Hello all,
We would like to thank everyone who showed up to Movie Night for
Dil Se. We hope the songs were worth coming for if the movie was not. We
do apologize for not being able to show Satya, but due to technical
difficulties, a good print was not available. However, we encourage you to
look forward for our next movie night later next term.
Till then, we have two events coming up. Mela '99 and India Nite
'99. We are now accepting offers for performances, dances, songs . . . for
India Nite '99 and Mela '99. There is limited space for Mela, entries
must be recieved by 4 p.m., Thursday, March 18. Mela shall consist of a
few stage performances but more of an educational evening on India itself:
Cricket, 'Henna', cultural dances, have your name written in Hindi, and
possibly yoga and Antakshari.
Currently, India Nite can accomodate some more entries. Please
send an e-mail by April 15, 1999 for any request for a cultural - educational program
that you
may have for India Nite. India Nite shall consist of dinner, performances,
and an enlightening occassion.
