Hello all,
I hope everyone is excited for this term. There are several events planned
and they should be great.
First, we have a MOVIE NIGHT next Friday, April 9th, 1999 at 7 p.m. More
information on that later this week.
Second, we have Mela '99 on Sunday, April 18th, 1999 in front of the MU
Commons beginning at 2 p.m. and going on till 5 p.m. Currently planned are a
song, a cultural dance, a pre-recorded cricket match with explanation of
play, a photo booth to get your picture taken in authentic India Clothing,
Henna for decoration, and possibly two otehr events being planned.
Third, we are planning to have Antakshari later that evening of April 19th,
if possible. Around 7 or 8 p.m. in the MU Ballroom.
Fourth, India Nite '99 on Sunday, May 9th, 1999. We are still looking and
taking requests for participation in the event until Tuesday, April 7, 1999.
