dear friends -- i have not written much about what is going on in the
narmada valley right now, mostly because there is no phone (or even
postal service!) in the narmada valley.  but i have been there as well
as in the supreme court where the case is being heard and i am sure all
of you are seeing the news reports of same.  if you havent decided what
you think of the issue, please take some time to decide.  if you are in
support of the people in narmada valley, please consider showing your
support -- the single most effective tool we have now is writing
letters.  i am not giving any form letter -- we need individual letters
and *many* of them.  we need them very soon.  river is rising daily and
water is currently just 2 meters from the satyagraha site.
