This is to appreciate the work done by India Assosiation(IA) under
Shekhar, President and other committee members. Being a student member of
the assosiation, I saw the organization grow not only by organizing the
regular events of India nite ( which was way too successful) but also by
voicing for the cause of our brethren back home. These fund raising
events and the views presented by the President himself, apprearing in
college & other newspapers, gave a maturity to the organization and was a
major image booster.
The fact that our organization was nominated for various prizes while
coexisting with a plethora of existing national, international and greek
community socities boosted the faith of not just the officials of the IA
but also of regular members like myself.
The load has been laid for success and an image has been created. It is
now onto the new officials to look upon this job with a sense of pride and
prestige. I wish the IA good luck and expect it to unravel new
oppurtunities and to rise in fame and prestige.
I also urge the IA to work above the divide of internal differences for it
success.
