Hi,

I'm the maintainer of freemedforms[1] and freediams[2] in Fedora.
They're packages part of the fedora-medical SIG[3]. 

Currently, freemedforms/freediams does not contain a database for Indian
drugs. In this condition, I'm unsure if we can even give them out to
doctors for testing. The IMA does not seem to provide a public copy of
the drug database. All I can find is a database on Medclik[4], which
isn't free (neither in the monitory nor in the foss way). 

I was wondering if any of you will be willing to look into talking to
the IMA and getting them to release the drug database under a CC
license. A few LUGs looking into this can certainly raise questions as
to why such a database is not available to the public in the first
place. 

I'm not in India and it's therefore slightly difficult for me to
undertake this myself.
