Anecdote of one (at least from someone who has attended a few such events at this cafe chain) is that Starbucks is generally receptive to the idea of a small group meeting regularly. The calendar invite is reminiscent of how various clubs have a regular schedule including date and location. >> We used to have the Monthly Fedora meet-up much earlier being held at >> the Red Hat Bangalore office, with free coffee/tea, free snacks, and >> free WiFi always available. To be able to organize meetups at locations which involve the various themes/workloads where Fedora adoption and awareness can be raised is a good thing to do. Organizing every single meet at a Red Hat office would encourage a system of monoculture. It may or, may not be a good thing as we are trying to do outreach to new communities (via SIGs and such) as well as new participants. > The meetups should not be centralized to a single location like Red > Hat as there are people coming from various parts of the city.
