Dave M, Danek -- OK, thanks. I guess my somewhat lames excuse rests on the fact that SUNWCmreq and SUNWCrnet are sub-core things (to my way of thinking anyway), and ones that occupy very little space. So I've always tended to think of them them (and my guess is others do as well) as things that do not encompass a lot more than just ON. Anyway, in light of this, my take now is that coming up with the 100% open-source thing from which the distro constructor will build is actually going to be rather tricky business, correct? If so, can I and others interested in this concept help in any way at this point?
