The wiki page below contains the list of all the sources in the X consolidation
and our status on replacing them with open source versions, open sourcing them
ourselves, or otherwise clearing them for redistribution. I've made various
assumptions about how to prioritize them - if anyone sees anything on the page
that they think we need to have done by the March-ish Indiana Release 1 that's
marked P3, let me know so we can bump up its priority. (The X group is
spreading out this work soon to our team members, to try to get the Indiana
required work done in time, but I imagine much of the P3 stuff won't be done by
March.)

Priorities:
1. Needed for basic Indiana desktop functionality
2. Needed for Indiana core desktop or compiz by Q2 CY2008
3. Needed eventually, but not necessary for basic Indiana desktop in first
release
So for instance, things like twm or xdm that GNOME & KDE won't use because
they provide their own versions are P3, as are the legacy toolkits (Xaw, Xt,
etc.) since GTK+ & Qt replace those, but the core library set that all the
desktops need are P1 or P2, as are the core utilities like xhost, xdpyinfo, etc.
that they don't provide replacements for. (xterm is an exception because
the OS installer & gdm failsafe specifically use it instead of gnome-terminal.)
(Priorities are a quick first pass, not the result of deep thought, so
please point out if you see any that should change).
