All, Here's the revised text I'll put in the doc: The OpenSolaris OS installs a ZFS root file system, not a UFS root file system on the disk selected during installation. The ZFS pool installed initially consists of the entire Solaris fdisk partition on the selected disk. You can add additional disks to this pool to create a mirrored pool configuration after the initial installation is complete.
