Hi Alex,

Linux Swap and the original Solaris partition type are the same fdisk id (0x82)
but since approx 2005 we've since updated to a new partition id (0xbf), which is
the default when you create a new "Solaris2" partition using OpenSolaris based
s/w now - so it shouldn't be an issue any more - but maybe someone who works on
the Installer could confirm this.
