After installing OpenSolaris 2008.05 on my laptop(XPS 1210), the network card didn't work(no driver for bfe) and I don't have wifi around. The lack of compiler makes it not possible to build the driver myself, even I had the source tarball of bfe driver in a USB stick. I finally found a place with wifi and installed sunstudio with pkg. It seems that I have to make a sunstudio install package backup on a USB stick.
